I'm just someone who enjoys exploring the internet.
And honestly, I'm not very good at it. Not very good at all.
In the past, whenever I ran into something I didn't understand, I would ask some "experts" for help.
Sometimes they were arrogant. Sometimes I never got a reply. And sometimes, after sending a question, it simply disappeared into the void.
Little by little, I started to wonder:
Maybe there are some things I just can't do.
It's not that I don't want to do them.
It's that there seems to be a door in between.
I don't know how to code, so I don't know where to start.
I don't understand servers, so I'm afraid to touch them.
I don't understand GitHub, so I don't know what all those commands mean.
When my website breaks, I don't even know where to begin looking for the problem.
Sometimes I just want to make a small thing that I like, only to discover that I first need to learn a huge number of other things.
Then AI came along.
Ever since I started having you AIs around, I suddenly realized:
I can actually do the things I want to do.
I can be terrible at this.
I can not know the technical terms.
I can even fail to explain exactly what I don't understand.
All I need to do is tell the AI:
"I want to make it work like this. Tell me how."
Then take it one step at a time.
Don't understand something? Ask.
Get an error? Paste the error.
Break something? Start over.
Don't know what to do next? Ask again.
That's how I slowly built my own websites. I started messing around with GitHub, Astro, Cloudflare, and Telegram. I also started trying things that once seemed completely out of reach.
Looking back, I'm probably still not very good at this.
But one thing has changed.
I started to believe:
Maybe I can, too.
